MOBILE

Initial Ideology:

  • transportable - from one place to another - Mobilise.. to make move. To act on an object and shift as an entity particularly pertaining to something else.
  • portable
  • assessable
  • remote
  • temporary?
  • ability to be placed anywhere
  • How does Architecture or an entity formulate/move into another entity?
Mobile Architecture:
  • people are more mobile than ever, changing jobs, cities, or even countries with increased frequency  - therefore architecture must respond
  • to formulate a MOBILE ARCHITECTURAL installation, it must move – this may become a virtual, flexible or distributed movement – but nonetheless has to be able to move and adapt to the changes in which ARCHITECTURE confines and facilitates.

Mobile & the Capital:

  •  Members are representative of electorates Australia wide - constant travel is required - this would facilitate a more direct engagement with the national people
  • Transportable governement space - a travelling paarliament ....possible campaign tool during elections
