VIRTUAL

Initial Ideologies:
  • an idea - interpretation
  • a simulation  ... a simulated environment ...emotion....memory
  • to generate
  • the realm of in between - not real but still realised
  • an expression
  • "that which is not real" but may display the salient qualities of the real
  • almost
  • artificial
  • a projection of imagination
  • a virtual connection - connecting people virtually - eg internet ...a virtual catalogue and library of....................
  • creates spaces that evoke thoughts
  • lack of restraint
Virtual Architecture:
  • virtual architecture - a realm, the existence of a building as a symbolic notion
  •  "virtual" tour of a design - allows the ability to experience the architectural presence
  • architecture has the ability to create virtual representations, memories and emotions
  • connectivity of 2D & 3D
  • architectural fiction
Virtuality & the Capital:

  • Allowing ARCHITECTURE to redefine the AUSTRALIAN identity by allowing the form to provide endless possibilities of the mind to create physical properties
  • Agent as a catalyse and initiate central node accessed by virtual  means to explore and exploit ideologies of national identities virtual  realm, the existence of a ‘building’ is purely symbolic”
  • Shift to all parliamentary proceedings being online
  • how could architectural virtuality improve security?
  • If imagination is the catalyst for ideas and into form, then who could use these facilities & what facilities would suffice this context
